Frustrated w/ Dell
I felt short changed by the quality of Dell Inspiron 910 notebook of wifey.
A few weeks after the warranty expires, the charger was broken. The charger is unrepairable. The cost of new charger is 5k and it would take a month to get the replacement. We just settled for the grade A type that we bought at Gilmore.
Just the other day, or the unit’s 15th month, it wont reboot. So I brought it to the service center with all the cds to have everything reinstalled. The cost of reinstallation is 1.2k. But I have a bigger problem, it’s the hard drive that is broken and it costs 10k and 2 months before the replacement would arrive.
My cloned PC lasts 5 years before I upgraded it, and it only costs 10k. This machine costs me more but it conked out barely after the warranty expired.
Talk about a lemon product.
